Cruise School 2027: Artificial Intelligence for Technological & Social Change

The University of Genoa, together with the Italy Node of the Millennium Project, is organising the Cruise School 2027 “Artificial Intelligence for Technological & Social Change”: eight days, 22–29 January 2027, aboard a ship in the Mediterranean Sea.

The programme combines lectures, workshops, interdisciplinary group work (Studio Projects) and international networking, ending with a final showcase. Its themes are artificial intelligence, data and futures studies, technological change and social change.

The school is open to PhD candidates, master’s students, researchers and postdocs, university staff, professionals and managers. No specific disciplinary background is required: participants from STEM, the social sciences and the humanities are welcome.
